Hello Lovelies,
Welcome back! And welcome if You are new here 🙂
Hope life is treating You well? Time for some monthly favourites me thinks?
Blooming Lovely Botanics Blooming Blue Everything Balm
Blooming blue everything balm is so lovely that I literally want to go round sharing it with You all 💙 My dermatitis affected skin loves blue tansy oil, I find it so healing. It was launched a year ago on Blue Monday (how apt but I haven’t realized) and I still are it. I am literally working my way through second larger sized jar. In fact, this has effectively replaced Mahalo Rare Indigo balm, which used to be my holy grail. I still love it, but one is twice cheaper than the other and works just as good. So it is a no brainer.

Thrifted cashmere
I just wrapped 2024 Slow Fashion Year project (see my last post) and I have to say my best piece from the whole year has to be M&S men’s cashmere jumper. I paid the whole euro for it (no kidding) and it has served me well. Wash after wash, season after season, it has held it shape, no stretching, bobbling or shrinking. I am no stranger to cashmere, but none of the them from women’s wear lines held up as well. There’s always signs of wear and tear, some brand’s sooner rather than later, but none of them lasted as well. Yes I know how to take care of my cashmere. This has been treated roughly and yet held up the best. Needless to say I am on the lookout for more cashmere pieces. I really want to find cashmere or wool coat next.
Diy magnesium oil
Magnesium fixed my sleep so therefore I will take it until the end of times. It is known as relaxing mineral, but did You know that it is needed for 300 body functions daily? Or that 80% of us are deficient in it and we can’t get enough of it via diet because of depleted soil? Or that there are 8 different supplement forms of it? I prefer to get it via skin oil application or Epsom salts bath. The oil is so easy to DIY and costs pennies rather than 16eu a bottle from the store. Want to know how? Let me show You.
Mild Irish winters
Oh how I love mild Irish winters with plus temperatures and barely any snow ever. Storms, however, not so much. I lost count, but I think we had 8 last year and there’s one more coming in the matter of days. 50 to 150km/h – I am a bit scared.
Japanese tea wares
I have a mild obsession with Japan for a while now. While I am yet to visit – a dream trip that would be – I am making do with visiting Japanese restaurants here and there and hunting for tablewares and more specifically tea wares. Also watching Japanese antique markets videos on Youtube. There’s plenty and some weird and wonderful objects to be seen.
Natural health remedies
Homeopathic remedy Oscillococcinum by Boiron and also NAHS OreganolP73 saved us time and time again, including this winter when we got sick pretty badly. Healed nicely and avoided antibiotics & side effects from petrol based pharmaceuticals, thank You very much. Oh, and neat lavender essential oil helped tremendously when my daughter got chicken pox. Save this for later and tell Your friends too.
