I specifically chose this product as I was interested in trying rosemary hydrolate, and it did not disappoint. If you follow me for a while, you might know that after using no mists and toners for the last two thousand of years, now I want them all (seriously) and they are coming especially handy at any time of the year – I have used this constantly in winter, when the indoor heating and the harsh weather outside was wreaking havoc on my skin and I know for the fact it will be used lots in the summer too. I make sure to mist my face before every skincare product application (especially if it’s a balm or facial oil) and multiple times throughout the day as well (providing I won’t be heading out the door in the next couple of minutes) patting it into the skin. I am really happy with this product.
CHOBS ORGANIC ALOE SHEET MASK
I have tried them all and I love all for different reasons. I was a bit apprehensive at first because with my uber sensitive skin plus dermatitis patch, there’s always that “eeek” moment – I sometimes react to the products everyone else seems to rave, even the ones aimed at troubled skin. Not a problem here! My favourites from the bunch are probably collagen and rose water ones. So if you wanted to try them, I say go ahead! Korean beauty is all the rage now, as well as sheet masks, but if you want only the best and the most natural of them all, Chobs is the way to go. Made with organic aloe extract as a base with lots of herbal extracts as active ingredients, these get my seal of approval for sure. Plenty of aloe for second masking if you are that way inclined, but if you wrinkle your nose at the thought of putting the same mask on, I have just the tip for you in this post here titled “How To Make Any Sheet Mask Last 3x Longer” – I suggest you read it 🙂

My thoughts on it: It is a foamy type of cleanser, which is more suitable for oily/normal skin type, so after initial trial period I gave this away to my elder princess, who’s skin is exactly that. She loved using it, but unfortunately unknown to us princess junior was using it not only as a hand wash but as a play foam too, so it is nearly finished twice as fast because of it. If I am asked to repurchase it, I will be more than happy to. Providing it will be kept on the top shelf 🙂
CHOBS MORINGA LOTION
This bad boy was the pull for me to try the brand – I have been researching moringa a lot recently and a moringa lotion was a no brainer to choose to try. Based in organic aloe, this has moringa and organic lavender extract.
My thoughts on it: it is nice and lightweight lotion, sinks in immediately without leaving you shiny nor can it be felt on the skin. Even though it is designed for dry skin in mind, I found it didn’t work too well on it’s own – please let me explain. While it did work nicely when I had good skin days, it just wasn’t enough if I had dry patches or dermatitis irritations, I felt I needed additional products on top. Now that we are coming into summer (hopefully we will get sunny days soon) I will give it another go on it’s own – in summers my skin tends to behave itself, so I hope I will be able to get away with it as my sole moisturizer. I feel it would work beautifully for people with oily/ combo/ normal skin or for those who hate the feeling of heavier creams or oils.
