How are all of You, I hope Fall is treating You well? Today I am coming at You with a bit of everything, slow living, fashion, products and (natural) candles season.
MUSINGS
I am in my intentional slowing down era, but also preparing for the upcoming rainy season and cold winter. Every fall I revisit this Slow Living Autumn Goals post, which has all the things from stocking up my Natural Medicine Cabinet to mindfully foraging the gifts of nature.
I also revisited my 23 Fall Faves and last year’s October favourites posts, and I have to say all of the things I talk about there are still firm favourites to today. From Evolve Organic Beauty to Living Libations to natural candles to thrifting. What are You guys loving these days?

NATURAL CANDLES
Fall and winter are candles season, but of course I want them natural. Depending where You live, they might be easier or harder to find locally. Nearly impossible where I live, I have had much easier time finding them back in Dublin. Ordering online is tricky, because I can’t guess scent profile from what I am reading on the description. Glass packaging is heavy and nightmare to post, not to mention high costs for it. I came across some “natural?” candles in Dunnes Stores from all the places, but there is a catch. No one in the stores knew whether they are all natural nor they were willing to find out for me (candles do not have ingredients lists) so I send a query via email and also their Facebook page. Two weeks later, still no reply. Go figure. Thankfully Sand & Fog and Sand & Paws candles from Live In The Light save the day time and time again. (link at the end of the post)

FORAGING
I will always look for the things to forage on my dog walks & right now I am finding three types of edible mushrooms. If I am fast enough, in this new town I have competition 🙂
THINGS
Two weeks into the month, nothing so far. I am actively shopping my stash to make way for upcoming products – I tend to treat myself for my birthday, which is next month. Plus I already bought Holland & Barret advent calendar. That’s right, no products, no things. That does not mean I am not spending monies, but these days is it mainly on groceries, kid, dog, yoga and a few lunches here and there.
I will update You if anything changes in the next half of the month. Sometimes I tend to go off the rails at the last days in the month, so I am not congratulating myself for being good just yet 🙂
