Blooming Lovely Botanics Blooming Blue Everything Balm review

Hope You are all well? Today I am coming at You with a quick review of a product I really enjoy lately. Please step forward Blooming Lovely Botanics Blooming Blue Everything Balm!

What do You do when one of Your blogger buddies launches a brand? You support it any way You can of course!

Blooming blue everything balm is so lovely that I literally want to go round sharing it with You all ๐Ÿ’™ My dermatitis affected skin loves blue tansy oil, I find it so healing. So when the founder and the formulator Lu from Blooming Lovely Botanics asked if I would love to try it, she didn’t need to ask twice. It was love at first swipe! This natural blue balm can be used in a lot of different ways, from face balm/ moisturizer to face wash (with a hot cloth) to a lip balm to be used on dry/ cracked skin all over, to cuticles to tame the edges or brows. Ingredients are amazing, as I predicted, think macademia nut seed oil, blue tansy, camelia seed oil, beeswax, lavender oil, frankincense oil and more. I say predicted, as I was lucky enough to be witnessing brand from the conception. The creator is none other than lovely blogger and Insta pal @alifeoflovely Lu ๐Ÿ’• I wish You the best of luck with business Lu and I truly want to encourage all of You to go follow this #smallbrand to help support it. Try this balm, as it is very good. You know I don’t say it lightly. After nearly 15 years of trying natural beauty products I might know a thing or two ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s look at the ingredients, shall we?

Full ingredients List:

Macadamia (nut) ternifolia seed oil, Rhus verniciflua peel cera (berry wax), Helianthus (sunflower) annuus seed oil, Camellia oleifera seed oil, Caprylic/ capric triglyceride (fractionated coconut oil, Simmondsia chinensis seed oil (jojoba), Oryza sativa (rice) bran wax, Rosa canina (rosehip) seed oil, Tanacetum annuum (blue tansy) flower oil, Lavandula angustifolia herb oil, Boswellia serrata (frankincense) oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E, Helianthus annuus seed oil.

Allergens naturally occuring in Essential oils:

Limonene, Linalol, Coumarin & Geraniol.

Let’s take a look at why exactly each ingredient was chosen?

Macadamia Nut Seed Oilย is a potent solution for dry, mature, and damaged skin, thanks to its high omega-7 and palmitic acid content. It provides lasting hydration, enriched with vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, and E) and minerals. The oil’s phytosterols contribute to skin recovery, reducing itchiness and inflammation naturally.

Blue Tansy is famous for its beautiful blue hue. Blue Tansy oil contains azulene, which has potent anti-inflammatory effects. It helps soothe irritated skin, making it beneficial for conditions like eczema and dermatitis. The oil has a sweet, calming fragrance that promotes relaxation and helps alleviate stress.

Camellia Seed Oilย Derived from the seeds of the camellia flower native to Japan and China, Camellia Seed Oil is a nutrient-rich skincare. It provides protection against environmental factors and moisture loss by fortifying the skin barrier. Moreover, it stimulates collagen production, leading to a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

*Do not use if pregnant or trying to get pregnant. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

My thoughts on it:

As I already mentioned, I love it! I already featured it on my Instagram here weeks ago, now it is time for the proper review. I am happy to report no adverse reactions initially or weeks and weeks later. Very important if You have sensitive skin! Blue tansy oil is so healing, I love blue balms for that reason and this is no exception. I already featured it in my Winter Faves post here but prepare to hear about it time and time again. Love it and the healing properties it brings. Highly recommend You take a look at it.
