INIKA Brow Palette Amber
Normally 33£, but now only 19.50£ – this quickly helped me make up my mind 🙂 Sadly it did not work out this time, the colours are way too warm. You see, my brows are cool toned, they need ashy toned products, to the point that I could use regular pencil on them (a tip I learned from Christie Brinkley book). They are very few and far in between in the green beauty world, so I am yet to find my perfect product. My perfect product has been discontinued long time ago and I am yet to find a replacement that would be just-so. Buying products online that require colour matching is really difficult, I always start by trying to look for swatches or video reviews first, but I could not find anything helpful in this instance, so I decided to chance it. Well, admittedly, Inika has brow tutorial video using this palette (or was that the darker one?) on Youtube, but the video is not shot as a close up, so it was hard to judge the colour. So in short, it did not work out. To be of help for people, I have started Green Beauty Swatch Gallery posts, but I don’t talk about them nowhere near enough. It is a photo dump of everything I own(ed), so if You are near my skin tone, You might find it helpful. See it linked at the end of this post.

BENECOS Natural Eyebrow Gel (Ash Brown) – 3ml
I chanced this because of “ash” in the name, but I am not entirely convinced it is ashy. First impressions are that it is extremely messy and not the easiest to work with – the wand had gloops and gloops of product on it, so even after wiping most of it on the sides of the tube, I ended up needing to re-do my brows simply because too much product ended up on them. That’s the nature of the eye brow gels, I suppose, using separate brush and just dipping it in the product slightly will solve this problem. I might have also chosen a shade that’s too dark, I never want Instagram Eyebrows, just my real ones defined a bit more. A note to myself, If I will go on to repurchase this product, look for Ash Blonde instead.

KIKI Health Organic Camu Camu Powder 70g
Naturally high in vitamin C which contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and maintenance of normal hair and skin. Naturally high in dietary fiber. Camu Camu Berries are harvested directly into canoe boats in the rainforest. Once inspected and washed, the pulped camu fruit are then placed into a custom low temperature dehydrator, ensuring that the fruits vitamin content is preserved and the fruit retains its full essence.
Love the fact that is is organic, I specifically chose it for the natural form of vitamin C. We all need it right now, in copious doses I would add. It is a brownish looking powder with a very sour taste. I do not mind, I mix a teaspoon (or half) into a little water, down it like a shot and go on to face the day. So far so good. I am naturally shifting from supplements to natural superfoods powders, anyone else in this too?
