Not too sure if You are subscribed to Love Lula emails or not, but every Wednesday they feature new brands or new products. When one of those popped into my inbox a couple of weeks ago, I immediately took notes, because every product called my name. A face oil with saffron and turmeric? Yes please! Hand cream with honey? Yes, yes yes. Lip balm with honey and hibiscus? I want to try that. Waste free tooth soap? Adding to my cart too!
Soul Tree Hand & Foot Cream – Kokum & Honey 100g @ £14.03
Hand cream with honey? Yes please, walk this way! I feel like good hand cream is what all of us need right now. While I already have two firm favourites that I swear by (Kiss The Moon Love Night Cream for Hands, I am looking at You!), I am always open to trying more products, especially if they contain honey. I will keep You posted. First impressions is that it works well, but has somewhat strange smell and the greyish colour took some time to get used to. Not as amazing as my beloved Kiss The Moon Love Night Cream for hands, but this now lives in the bathroom and the whole family uses it every day.

Soul Tree Hibiscus & Honey Lip Balm 3.5g @ £9.33
Soul Tree is an Ayurvedic natural brand that I barely familiar with, I only have tried their Kajal, made with ghee and nourishing butters, but as You can see, I am making up for the lost time this month. Hopefully all products will prove themselves & will make me want to delve deeper. Lip balm is one of the products that is super important to me, I have tried dozens upon dozens of them in my time and only four made it into my Holy Grail category. You see, a lip balm has to not only be natural, but also last on the lips, am I right or am I right? What’s the use of a lip balm if it’s gone in five minutes and you need to reach for more to protect your lips from cracking? The formula has to be just right for me, otherwise I am not going to repurchase, sorry. Once again, the first impressions are the same, it is a good product but didn’t quite make it into my Holy Grails category. It was fun to try though.

My Favourite Natural & Organic Lip Balms [That Stay On The Lips]
Soul Tree Radiance Face Oil with Saffron & Turmeric 10ml @ £19.99
Umm, a little confession to make – I am not short on face oils. Nor I am impressed with everything that comes my way. So I needed a good excuse to try yet another face oil & code words “saffron” & “turmeric” were it for me 🙂 I have had a couple of face oils with turmeric, but never with saffron, so I needed to know more. On a closer perusion, this also contains sandalwood 10ml is the right size for me, I feel I will be able to finish it in a timely manner. If I will like it, there’s two face creams for me to follow up, with saffron & turmeric (not in the same formula though) and a bunch of other herbal extracts.

Georganics Natural Toothsoap – English Peppermint 60ml @ £8.90
Is it a deodorant? Is is a balm? No, it is a tooth soap in the most interesting packaging ever – and I needed to know! Geoganics is the right brand for my zero waste friends out there, I feel like plastic free oral care is hard to pull off, but the brand might have done just that. I wasn’t having too much hope for this product, but much to my suprise it works amazingly well, no feel of residue after I clean my teeth. I have been using it for weeks now & there’s no visible dent in it, which is making me think this amount will last me years! Travel friendly too 🙂 I have a feeling I will be adding this to my Love Lula Holy Grails list soon – aka Forever Repurchases 🙂
